۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
