O Prophet! say to your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers that they let down upon them their over-garments; this will be more proper, that they may be known, and thus they will not be given trouble; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites, those whose hearts are sick and those who encourage the spread of evil in the city, will not desist, We shall arouse you against them and they will only be allowed to be your neighbors for a short while. 60 Accursed, they would be seized wherever found, and slain mercilessly. 61 God's wont with those who passed away before; and thou shall find no changing the wont of God. 62 People ask you regarding the Last Day; proclaim, “Its knowledge is only with Allah; and what do you know, the Last Day may really be near!” 63 Surely Allah has cursed the unbelievers and has prepared for them a burning fire, 64 In which they will remain forever; in it they will find neither a protector nor any supporter. 65 The Day that their faces will be turned upside down in the Fire, they will say: "Woe to us! Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger!" 66 And they will say, “Our Lord! We followed our chiefs and our elders – so they misled us from the path!” 67 O our Lord! give them a double punishment and curse them with a great curse. 68
