So did you observe him who turned away? 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 And that it is He Who causeth to die and causeth to live. 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 This is a warning among the warnings of yore. 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Will you, then, wonder at this? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
