Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 I call to witness the Qur'an, custodian of all laws, -- 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 Surely We have put on their necks fetters up to the chin, so their heads are raised; 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have enshrouded them in veils so that they cannot see: 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 Thou only warnest him who follows the Remembrance and who fears the All-merciful in the Unseen; so give him the good tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Verily We! We shall quicken the dead. And We write down that which they send before and their footsteps. And everything We have counted up in a Book luminous. 12
