Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 And those [angels] who bring criterion 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 When the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 For what Day are these signs postponed? 12 For the Day of sorting out (the men of Paradise from the men destined for Hell). 13 And what knowest thou what the Day of Decision is? 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 until an appointed time? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 And have placed therein firm, and tall mountains; and have given you to drink sweet water? 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 40

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
