The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 who determined and guided, 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
