And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
