Nay, and by the moon, 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 A warning unto humankind 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, 40 about the guilty ones: 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 we fed not the needy, 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it], 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 Nay, every man of them desires to be -- given -- scrolls unrolled. 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 There is no doubt that the Quran is a guide. 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
