Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Have We not expanded thee thy breast?- 1 relieved you of the burden 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 And raised high for you your repute. 4 So verily, with the hardship, there is relief, 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 And turn to your Lord with all your love. 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
