Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
We have placed the signs of the Zodiac in the sky, and decked it out for those who can see; 16 And We have guarded it from every outcast devil, 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 And We have made in it means of subsistence for you and for him for whom you are not the suppliers. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 and it is thy Lord shall muster them, and He is All-wise, All-knowing. 25
