And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
