Remember Our votary Job because he called to his Lord: "Satan has afflicted me with disease and distress." 41 [So he was told], "Strike [the ground] with your foot; this is a [spring for] a cool bath and drink." 42 We gave him back his family and doubled their number as a blessing from Us and as a reminder to the people of understanding. 43 "Take a handful of herbs," (We said to him), and apply and rub them, and do not make a mistake." We found him patient in adversity, an excellent devotee, always turning in repentance. 44 And remember Our servants -- Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -- they were endowed with great strength and vision. 45 Verily We did choose them for a special (purpose)- proclaiming the Message of the Hereafter. 46 And verily they are with us of the elect of the excellent ones. 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhul-Kifl, and all are among the outstanding. 48 This is a reminder; and most surely there is an excellent resort for those who guard (against evil), 49 Gardens of Eden with gates open wide to them, 50 Wherein, reclining, they call for plenteous fruit and cool drink (that is) therein. 51 ۞ and with them maidens restraining their glances of equal age. 52 'This is what you are promised on the Day of Recompense, 53 this is Our provision, unto which there is no end.' 54 All this (is for the God-fearing). But for the transgressors, an evil resort awaits them -- 55 They shall roast in (the Fire) of Gehenna, an evil cradling. 56 Yea, such! - then shall they taste it,- a boiling fluid, and a fluid dark, murky, intensely cold!- 57 and other similar to it, joined together. 58 “Here is another group that was with you, falling along with you”; they will answer, “Do not give them plenty of open space; they surely have to enter the fire let them also be confined!” 59 They will say to them, "You are not welcome! It was you who brought this on us, an evil place to stay," 60 They say, “Our Lord! Whoever has brought this calamity upon us double the punishment of the fire for him!” 61 And they say, “What is the matter with us that we do not see the men whom we thought were evil?” 62 Have we taken them in mockery? Or, have our eyes swerved from them?' 63 This contending of the inmates of Hell will surely be real. 64

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
