Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the winds that scatter the dust, 1 Then those clouds bearing the load (of minute things in space). 2 then the easy runners (the ships); 3 and the partitioners, 4 Indeed, what you are promised is true. 5 And verily, the Recompense is sure to happen. 6 By the heaven full of paths. 7 You are surely caught in contradictions., 8 He is turned away from it who would be turned away. 9 May the conjecturers perish, 10 they who blunder along, in ignorance lost 11 They ask, "When will the Day of Judgement come?" 12 It will be on the day when they will be roasted in the fire. 13 [And will be told], "Taste your torment. This is that for which you were impatient." 14 Lo! those who keep from evil will dwell amid gardens and watersprings, 15 Taking what their Lord gives them; surely they were before that, the doers of good. 16 They slept very little during the night 17 and asked for forgiveness in the early morning. 18 And the beggar and the destitute had a share in their wealth. 19 And in the earth are signs for those who are certain. 20 As also in your own selves: Will ye not then see? 21 In the sky is your provision and that which you are promised. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23
