Shattering (Al-Infitaar)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 Each soul shall know that which it sent afore and that which it left behind. 5 O MAN! What is it that lures thee away from thy bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 Nay! But you deny the Recompense (reward for good deeds and punishment for evil deeds). 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 noble scribes, 11 Who know what you do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 whereas, behold, the wicked will indeed be in a blazing fire 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 It will be a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to any other human being, God [alone] will hold command on that Day. 19

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
