Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ Have We not opened forth for thee thy breast? 1 And We have taken off from thee thy burthen, 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 Then verily along with every hardship is ease. 5 Indeed with hardship is ease. 6 So when you are free work diligently, 7 and to your Lord turn [all] your attention. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
