T H (Taa Haa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 We have not sent the Quran to make you, (Muhammad), miserable, 2 But only as an admonition to those who fear (Allah),- 3 a revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. 4 the Most Gracious, established on the throne of His almightiness? 5 To Him only belongs all whatever is in the heavens and all whatever is in the earth, and all whatever is between them, and all whatever is beneath this wet soil. 6 And if you speak aloud - then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden. 7 God - there is no deity save Him; His [alone] are the attributes of perfection! 8 And has there come to you the story of Musa (Moses)? 9 When he saw fire, he said to his family: Stop, for surely I see a fire, haply I may bring to you therefrom a live coal or find a guidance at the fire. 10 So when he came near the fire, it was announced, “O Moosa!” 11 “Indeed I am your Lord, therefore take off your shoes; indeed you are in the holy valley of Tuwa!” 12 I have chosen you as My Messengers. Listen to the revelation. 13 Indeed, I am Allah. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance. 14 The Hour is coming; I would conceal it that every soul may be recompensed for its labours. 15 So do not let one avert you from it who does not believe in it and follows his desire, for you [then] would perish. 16 And what is that in your right hand, O Moses?" 17 He said, "It is my rod: on it I lean; with it I beat down fodder for my flocks; and in it I find other uses." 18 He said, “Put it down, O Moosa! 19 So he cast it down; and lo! it was a serpent running. 20 God said, "Take hold of it, and have no fear: We shall return it to its former state. 21 "Now - as another Sign - place your hand under your arm and it will come out sheer white without harm (or stain). 22 for We shall show you some of Our greatest Signs. 23 “Go to Firaun, he has rebelled.” 24
