And a sign for them is the dead earth. We have brought it to life and brought forth from it grain, and from it they eat. 33 And We produce therein orchard with date-palms and vines, and We cause springs to gush forth therein: 34 That they may eat of the fruit thereof; and their hands worked it not. Will they not, therefore, give thanks? 35 Glory be to Him, who created all the pairs of what the earth produces, and of themselves, and of what they know not. 36 And a sign for them is the night, We withdraw therefrom the day, and behold, they are in darkness. 37 how the sun moves in its orbit and this is the decree of the Majestic and All-knowing God; 38 And the Moon,- We have measured for her mansions (to traverse) till she returns like the old (and withered) lower part of a date-stalk. 39 It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They all float, each in an orbit. 40 Another Sign for them is that We carried all their offspring in the laden vessel 41 And We have created for them the like of it, what they will ride on. 42 We could have drowned them if We pleased, and none would have answered their cry for help, nor would they have been saved, 43 Unless by Our benevolence, to reap advantage for a time. 44 And [yet,] when they are told, "Beware of [God's insight into] all that lies open before you and all that is hidden from you, so that you might be graced with His mercy," [most men choose to remain deaf;] 45 Indeed, not one of your Lord's signs comes to them without their turning away from it, 46 When they are told: "Spend of what God has given you," the unbelievers say to those who believe: "Why should we feed those whom God should have fed if He pleased?" You are only in palpable error. 47 They say, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?" 48 The Truth is that they are waiting for nothing but a mighty Blast to seize them the while they are disputing (in their worldly affairs), 49 No (chance) will they then have, by will, to dispose (of their affairs), nor to return to their own people! 50
