۞ O men! It is you who stand in need of God -- God is self-sufficient, and praiseworthy -- 15 If He wishes, He can remove you and put in your place a new creation. 16 And that is not hard for Allah. 17 AND NO BEARER of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; and if one weighed down by his load calls upon [another] to help him carry it, nothing thereof may be carried [by that other,] even if it be one's near of kin. Hence, thou canst [truly] warn only those who stand in awe of their Sustainer although He is beyond the reach of their perception, and are constant in prayer, and [know that] whoever grows in purity, attains to purity but for the good of his own self, and [that] with God is all journeys' end. 18 The blind and the sighted are not equal, 19 Nor are (alike) the darkness (disbelief) and the light (Belief in Islamic Monotheism). 20 nor cool shade and torrid heat; 21 And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allah causes to hear whom He wills, but you cannot make hear those in the graves. 22 thou art nothing but a warner. 23 Lo! We have sent thee with the Truth, a bearer of glad tidings and a warner; and there is not a nation but a warner hath passed among them. 24 If they give the lie to you now, those that went before them also gave the lie to their Messengers when they came to them with Clear Proofs, with Scriptures, and with the Illuminating Book. 25 so I seized the unbelievers and how terrible was their torment. 26
