Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
