Moses said, "My Lord! open up my heart, 25 "Ease my task for me; 26 "And remove the impediment from my speech, 27 (That) they may understand my word; 28 and appoint for me, from my household, someone who will help me bear my burden - 29 Aaron my brother 30 Confirm my strength with him 31 and let him share my task, 32 That we may hallow Thee oft. 33 and remember You abundantly. 34 Surely Thou seest into us.' 35 He said, “O Moosa, you have been granted your prayer.” 36 We had already shown you favor 37 when We revealed Our will to your mother, saying, 38 "'Put him into a chest, then cast it into the river. The river will cast it on to the bank, and there he shall be taken up by an enemy of Mine and his.' I showered My love on you so that you might be reared under My watchful eye. 39 When your sister went and said: Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him? So We brought you back to your mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve and you killed a man, then We delivered you from the grief, and We tried you with (a severe) trying. Then you stayed for years among the people of Madyan; then you came hither as ordained, O Musa. 40 And I have attached thee to Myself. 41 Go you and your brother with My communications and be not remiss in remembering Me; 42 Go to Pharaoh, for he has become insolent. 43 "But speak to him mildly; perchance he may take warning or fear (Allah)." 44 They said: "Our Lord! Verily! We fear lest he should hasten to punish us or lest he should transgress (all bounds against us)." 45 [Allah] said, "Fear not. Indeed, I am with you both; I hear and I see. 46 So go to him, and say: verily we are two apostles of thy Lord, so let go with us the Children of Isra'il, and torment them not; surely we have come unto thee with a sign from thy Lord: and peace be upon him who followeth the guidance. 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 He (Pharaoh) said: 'Moses, who is the Lord of you both' 49 Musa said: our Lord is He who vouchsafed unto everything its creation, then guided it. 50 He said: Then what is the state of the former generations? 51 Moses replied, "The knowledge about it is with my Lord in the Book. My Lord is free from error and forgetfulness. 52 It is He who has laid out the earth for you and traced routes in it and sent down water from the sky. We have brought forth every sort of plant with it, 53 Eat [therefrom] and pasture your livestock. Indeed, in that are signs for those of intelligence. 54
