Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 Who are heedless of their prayer; 5 They who would be seen, 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
