Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed the signs of the Zodiac in the sky, and decked it out for those who can see; 16 And We have guarded it (near heaven) from every outcast Shaitan (devil). 17 but if anyone eavesdrops, he is pursued by a bright flaming fire. 18 We have spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains. Everything We have caused to grow therein is justly weighed; 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 Naught is there, but its treasuries are with Us, and We send it not down but in a known measure. 21 And We let loose the winds to fertilize [plants] and We send down water from the skies and let you drink thereof: and it is not you who dispose of its source 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
