WITH ALL THIS, man [often] says, "What! Once I am dead, shall I again be brought forth alive?" 66 Does man not remember that before We created him he was nothing? 67 By thy Lord, then, We shall surely gather them and the satans; thereafter We shall surely bring them round Hell, kneeling. 68 Then We will separate from every group those who were strongly rebellious against the Beneficent God. 69 And certainly We know best those who are most worthy of being burned therein. 70 There is not one of you but shall pass by Hell. This is a decree which your Lord will fulfil. 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 When Our lucid revelations are read out to them, the infidels say to those who believe: "Which of the two groups is better in standing, and whose company is more excellent?" 73 But how many (countless) generations before them have we destroyed, who were even better in equipment and in glitter to the eye? 74 Proclaim, “For one in error – so the Most Gracious may give him respite; to the extent that when they see the thing which they are promised – either the punishment or the Last Day; so then they will come to know for whom is the evil rank and whose army is weak.” 75 Allah increaseth in right guidance those who walk aright, and the good deeds which endure are better in thy Lord's sight for reward, and better for resort. 76 Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says: 'I shall surely be given wealth and children' 77 Has he known the unseen or has he taken a covenant from the Most Beneficent (Allah)? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall lengthen the length of his suffering [in the hereafter,] 79 We shall inherit all that he boasts of, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 And they have taken gods besides Allah, that they should be to them a source of strength; 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worship and shall become their adversaries instead. 82
