The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be that you (O Muhammad SAW) are going to kill yourself with grief, that they do not become believers [in your Risalah (Messengership) and in your Message of Islamic Monotheism]. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
