۞ O people, it is you who stand in need of Allah; as for Allah, He is Self-Sufficient, Immensely Praiseworthy. 15 If He wills, He can take you away and bring other creatures. 16 this is not a great matter for Allah. 17 No soul laden bears the load of another; and if one heavy-burdened calls for its load to be carried, not a thing of it will be carried, though he be a near kinsman. Thou warnest only those who fear their Lord in the Unseen and perform the prayer; and whosoever purifies himself, purifies himself only for his own soul's good. To God is the homecoming. 18 The blind man is not equal with the seer; 19 nor are the depths of darkness and the light; 20 the shade and the torrid heat; 21 Nor are alike those that are living and those that are dead. Allah can make any that He wills to hear; but thou canst not make those to hear who are (buried) in graves. 22 You are simply a warner. 23 Indeed, We have sent you with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And there was no nation but that there had passed within it a warner. 24 And if these disbelievers deny you, those before them had also denied; their Noble Messengers came to them with clear proofs and scriptures and the bright Book. 25 but in the end I seized those who were bent on denying the truth and how terrible was My punishment. 26
