1/2 Hizb 45
< random >
۞ Gather together those who did wrong and their comrades and that which they were wont to worship 22 instead of God, and lead them all onto the way to the blazing fire, 23 and detain them there; they will be called to account. 24 What is the matter with you that you do not help each other? 25 Nay! on that Day they will be entirely submissive. 26 And they will approach one another blaming each other. 27 They shall say: Surely you used to come to us from the right side. 28 They will answer, “You yourselves did not have faith!” 29 And we had no authority over you, but you were an inordinate people; 30 But now our Sustainer's word has come true against us [as well]: verily, we are bound to taste [the fruit of our sins]. 31 We seduced you astray; verily we were ourselves the seduced ones. 32 On that Day, they will all share the chastisement. 33 Indeed, that is how We deal with the criminals. 34 Whenever it was said to them: “There is no true deity apart from Allah,” they waxed proud 35 And said: Shall we forsake our gods for a mad poet? 36 Nay! he (Muhammad SAW) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism and this Quran) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism). 37 You shall certainly taste the painful punishment: 38 Ye are requited naught save what ye did - 39 But Allah's chosen servants (shall be spared this woeful end). 40 For them is a known sustenance, 41 fruits. And they are receivers of generosity 42 in the Gardens of Delight, 43 On thrones facing one another. 44 Round them will be passed a cup of pure wine; 45 Clear, delicious to drink, 46 There shall be no trouble in it, nor shall they be exhausted therewith. 47 And with them are those of modest gaze, with lovely eyes, 48 (Pure) as they were hidden eggs (of the ostrich). 49 They will turn to each other and ask questions. 50 A speaker of them will say: "Verily, I had a companion (in the world), 51 who used to ask, 'Do you really believe that 52 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be requited?" 53 He says, 'Are you looking down?' 54 So he looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire. 55 He said: "By Allah! You have nearly ruined me. 56 Had it not been for the grace of my Lord I too would have been there (in Hell). 57 Are we not then to die 58 Except for our first death, and we will not be punished?" 59 Most surely this is the mighty achievement. 60 For the like of this, then, let the workers work. 61 Is that the better entertainment or the Tree of Zaqqum? 62 which We have made as a test for the wrongdoers. 63 Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire, 64 The shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of devils: 65 And lo! they verily must eat thereof, and fill (their) bellies therewith. 66 Then indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water. 67 then their return is unto Hell. 68 These are the ones who found their fathers steeped in error, 69 and rushed to follow them. 70 Before them a multitude of people of olden times had erred, 71 But We sent aforetime, among them, (messengers) to admonish them;- 72 Observe, then, what was the end of those that had been warned, 73 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 74
