Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
