Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am only a warner and there is no Ilah (God) except Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) the One, the Irresistible, 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 (And) you are turning aside from it: 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 "Only this has been inspired to me, that I am a plain warner." 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 Till the period of the time made known. 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 except those among them who are Your sincere worshipers' 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
