What! is he whose heart Allah has opened for Islam so that he is in a light from his Lord (like the hard-hearted)? Nay, woe to those whose hearts are hard against the remembrance of Allah; those are in clear error. 22 Allah hath revealed the most excellent discourse, a Book consimilar oft-repeated, whereat trembleth the skins of these who fear their Lord; then their skins and their hearts soften at the remembrance of Allah. This is Allah's guidance, wherewith He guideth whomsoever He will. And whomsoever Allah sendeth astray, for him there is no guide. 23 Is he whose face is cautious of the evil of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection (to be compared to the unbeliever)! To the evildoers it shall be said: 'Now taste that which you have been earning' 24 Those before them had denied, then punishment had overtaken them is from a quarter they did not suspect. 25 Then God made them taste of disgrace in this life; and the torment of the life to come is greater, if they understand. 26 We have set forth to men all kinds of parables in this Quran so that they may take heed: 27 An Arabic Quran without any crookedness, that they may guard (against evil). 28 God has struck a similitude -- a man in whom partners disagreeing share, and a man the property of one man. Are the two equal in likeness? Praise belongs to God! Nay, but most of them do not know. 29 You will die and they too will die, 30 Then eventually all of you will contend before your Lord on the Day of Resurrection. 31
