Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
