Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 So it is he, who pushes away the orphan, 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 Woe, then, to those who pray, 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
