And certainly We created man of clay that gives forth sound, of black mud fashioned in shape. 26 and the jinn before (the human being) of smokeless fire. 27 And when thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay of mud moulded. 28 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down making obeisance to him. 29 then the angels all prostrated themselves together. 30 Save Iblis. He refused to be among the prostrate. 31 God asked him, "What is the matter with you, that you are not among those who have prostrated themselves?" 32 He replied, "I am not one to prostrate myself to a man whom You have created out of a clay of moulded mud." 33 "Go hence, execrable," (said the Lord), "from this place, 34 A curse shall be on you till the Day of Recompense' 35 Said [Iblis]: "Then, O my Sustainer, grant me a respite till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead!" 36 (Allah) said: "Respite is granted thee 37 “Till the Day of a well-known time.” 38 Iblis said: "My Lord! In the manner You led me to error, I will make things on earth seem attractive to them and lead all of them to error, 39 "Except Your chosen, (guided) slaves among them." 40 He said: This is a right way with Me: 41 Surely, you shall have no power over My true servants, except those misguided ones who choose to follow you. 42 And verily Hell is the place promised unto them all. 43 It has seven gates, and through each gate a portion of them belong. 44

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
