And verily it is a revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 brought down by the Faithful Spirit 193 Upon your heart, [O Muhammad] - that you may be of the warners - 194 It has been revealed in plain Arabic. 195 Its news was also mentioned in the ancient Books. 196 Is it not a Sign to them that the Learned of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)? 197 If We had sent it down on a barbarian 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 In this wise have We made way for it into the hearts of the culprits. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful torment; 201 The torment will strike them suddenly without their knowledge. 202 Then they will say: Shall we be respited? 203 So do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years 205 And then cometh that which they were promised, 206 They would not be availed by the enjoyment with which they were provided. 207 Never did We destroy a population, but had its warners - 208 By way of reminder; and We never are unjust. 209 And this Qur’an was not brought down by the devils. 210 And it behoves them not, and they have not the power to do (it). 211 Indeed they are debarred from even hearing it. 212 So call on no other god but God, lest you are condemned to torment; 213 And warn your tribe (O Muhammad SAW) of near kindred. 214 And take those believers under your wing who follow you. 215 If they disobey you, say: 'I am quit of what you do' 216 And put thy trust on the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,- 217 Who watches you when you stand up. 218 And your movement among those who prostrate. 219 for, verily, He alone is all-hearing, all-knowing! 220 Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They come down to every mendacious sinner, 222 (Into whose ears) they pour hearsay vanities, and most of them are liars. 223 Poets are followed by the perverse. 224 hast thou not seen how they wander in every valley 225 And that they say what they do not do? - 226 The righteously striving believers among them who remember God very often and use their talent to seek help after they have been wronged are the exceptional. The unjust will soon know how terrible their end will be. 227

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
