3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 We delivered him and his household from the great calamity; 76 And made his progeny survive, 77 and We left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 78 Peace be with Noah among all men in the worlds. 79 Thus do We reward all those who do good. 80 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 81 [and so We saved him and those who followed him] and then We caused the others to drown. 82 ۞ And, verily, among those who followed his [Nuh's (Noah)] way (Islamic Monotheism) was Ibrahim (Abraham). 83 When he came to his Lord with a free heart, 84 and when he said to his father and to his nation: 'What do you worship? 85 Is it a calumny, gods apart from God, that you desire? 86 What do you think about the Lord of the Universe?" 87 And he cast a glance at the stars, 88 Then said: Lo! I feel sick! 89 And they turned their backs on him and went away. (The pagans thought he would transmit the disease). 90 Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 What ails you, that you speak not?' 92 He struck them with his right hand. 93 Then came the others to him hastening. 94 He said, 'Do you serve what you hew, 95 And Allah has created you and what you make. 96 They replied: 'Build for him a building and cast him into the fire' 97 And they desired a war against him, but We brought them low. 98 And he said (after his rescue from the fire): "Verily, I am going to my Lord. He will guide me!" 99 My Lord! grant me of the doers of good deeds. 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy, possessing forbearance. 101 And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast." 102 When both surrendered (to Allah's command) and Abraham flung the son down on his forehead, 103 We cried out: “O Abraham, 104 “You have indeed made the dream come true”; and this is how We reward the virtuous. 105 for, behold, all this was indeed a trial, clear in itself. 106 So, We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 And We left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 108 Peace be unto Ibrahim: 109 This is how We reward the virtuous. 110 For he was one of our believing Servants. 111 Then We gave him the good tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous. 112 We blessed him and Ishaque (Isaac), and of their progeny are (some) that do right, and some that plainly wrong themselves. 113
