Have you not seen how those who dispute the signs of God are turned away? 69 those who reject the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers shall soon know -- 70 when they shall have to carry the shackles and chains [of their own making] around their necks, 71 In the boiling fetid fluid: then in the Fire shall they be burned; 72 It will then be said to them, “Where are the partners you used to appoint?” – 73 "Besides Allah" They will say: "They have vanished from us: Nay, we did not invoke (worship) anything before." Thus Allah leads astray the disbelievers. 74 (And it will be said): 'That is because you rejoiced on earth in things of which you had no right, and were very happy. 75 So enter the gates of Hell to abide in it for ever." How evil the abode of the arrogant! 76 So be patient [Prophet], for God's promise is true: whether We show you part of what We have promised them in this life, or cause you to die first, it is to Us that they will be recalled. 77 Indeed We sent many Noble Messengers before you, so We have related to you the affairs of some among them, and not related the affairs of some; and no Noble Messenger has the right to bring any sign except with the command of Allah; so the time when the command of Allah comes, the true judgement will be delivered and there will the people of falsehood be ruined. 78
