The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
When the sun shall be folded up, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 And when the mountains are driven. 3 when ten-month pregnant camels are left untended, 4 when the savage beasts are gathered 5 and when the seas are set on fire, 6 And when souls are reunited, 7 When the female (infant), buried alive, is questioned - 8 for what sin she was killed, 9 when the scrolls shall be unrolled, 10 when heaven shall be stripped off; 11 And when hell is further enflamed. 12 And when the Garden is brought nigh, 13 then shall a soul know what it has produced. 14 So, I call the receding stars to witness, 15 stars which are visible during the night 16 by the night swarming, 17 And by the morning when it shineth forth, 18 behold, this [divine writ] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 19 The processor of strength, having an honorable place with the Lord of the Dominion, 20 obeyed, and honest. 21 Your companion is not possessed; 22 And without doubt he saw him in the clear horizon. 23 And this Prophet is not miserly upon the hidden. (Allah gave the knowledge of the hidden to the Holy Prophet peace and blessings be upon him.) 24 Nor is this the utterance of a devil worthy to be stoned. 25 Whither, then, will you go? 26 It is naught but a reminder for the nations, 27 to everyone of you who wills to walk a straight way. 28 But ye shall not will except as Allah wills,- the Cherisher of the Worlds. 29
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
