Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 who has created thee, and formed thee in accordance with what thou art meant' to be, and shaped thy nature in just proportions, 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 noble scribes 11 They know what you do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
