The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
