Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
