People (Al-Naas)

6 verses, revealed in Mecca after Daybreak (Al-Falaq) before Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

(Muhammad), say, "I seek protection from the Cherisher of mankind, 1 the King of mankind, 2 The god (or judge) of Mankind,- 3 from the mischief of every sneaking whis-perer, 4 “Those who instil evil thoughts into the hearts of men.” 5 from jinn and men." 6

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
