Indeed, We sent Noah to his nation, and he lived amongst them for a thousand years, less fifty (but they belied him), then the Flood seized them while they were harmdoers. 14 But We saved him and those with him in the ark, and made it a sign for the creatures of the world. 15 Abraham told his people, "Worship God and have fear of Him. It is better for you if only you knew it. 16 You worship idols besides God and fabricate falsehoods. Those whom you worship besides God have no power to provide sustenance for you. So seek your sustenance from God and worship Him and be grateful to Him, for to Him you shall return. 17 And if you [people] deny [the message] - already nations before you have denied. And there is not upon the Messenger except [the duty of] clear notification. 18 What! do they not consider how Allah originates the creation, then reproduces it? Surely that is easy to Allah. 19 Say: Journey in the land, then behold how He originated creation; then God causes the second growth to grow; God is powerful over everything, 20 He punishes or grants mercy to whomever He wants and to Him you will all return. 21 "Not on earth nor in heaven will ye be able (fleeing) to frustrate (his Plan), nor have ye, besides Allah, any protector or helper." 22
