And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
