The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event takes place, 1 no soul will deny its coming. 2 Abasing (some), exalting (others); 3 When the earth is shaken violently, 4 and the mountains crumbled 5 So that they become a scattered dust, 6 [on that Day,] then, shall you be [divided into] three kinds. 7 The People on the Right: and how fortunate will be the People on the Right! 8 And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? 9 And the forerunners, the forerunners - 10 It is they who are the close ones. 11 In Gardens of Bliss: 12 A multitude of those (foremost) will be from the first generations (who embraced Islam). 13 And a few of the later peoples, 14 On studded thrones. 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 Youths of never-ending bloom will pass round to them 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 Their heads shall not ache with it, nor shall they lose their senses. 19 and with fruit of any kind that they may choose, 20 And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire. 21 and fair maidens with large, lustrous eyes 22 Like pearls within their shells, 23 as reward for their deeds. 24 No empty talk will they hear there, nor any call to sin, 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 And those on the right – how (fortunate) are those on the right! 27 (will be) among thornless Lote trees. 28 and banana trees, 29 And in everlasting shade. 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And plenty of fruits. 32 Unending, unforbidden, 33 And carpets raised. 34 We have indeed developed these women with an excellent development. 35 And made them virgins. 36 chastely amorous, 37 For the Companions of the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
