▼ 79 The Snatchers
Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 high above? 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 produced water and grass therefrom, 31 then set-up firmly the mountains. 32 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 Lo! the Garden will be his home. 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 You are only a warner to him who would fear it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
