Al-Layl
The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of the night when it covers 1 By the Day as it appears in glory; 2 Consider the creation of the male and the female! 3 you strive in various ways. 4 For him that gives and fears (Allah) 5 And believes in the best [reward], 6 We will indeed make smooth for him the path to Bliss. 7 And as for him who is niggardly and considers himself free from need (of Allah), 8 And who belieth the Good, 9 We will ease him toward difficulty. 10 His wealth will not avail him when he falls into ruin. 11 Lo! Ours it is (to give) the guidance 12 And indeed, to Us belongs the Hereafter and the first [life]. 13 Now I have warned you of a Fire that flames, 14 None shall enter it save the most wretched, 15 who gives the lie to the truth and turns away [from it]. 16 and from which the cautious shall be distanced. 17 one who gives his wealth to become purified, 18 They do not expect any reward 19 Except the seeking of the pleasure of his Lord, the Most High. 20 and before long he will be well satisfied. 21
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
