The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
