▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
