Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 and prevent the utensils of assistance. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
