The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 Those are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 9
