Al-Najm 3 of 3
Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 And afterward he will be repaid for it with fullest payment; 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 out of a [mere] drop of sperm as it is poured forth, 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Do you then marvel at this discourse, 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 And you are lost in play! 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
